SortMerge(Object[],IComparer) Method

Sorts the passed in array based on the passed in comparer using a modified merge-sort algorithm. It requires allocation of an array equal in size to the array to be sorted. Merge sort should be used if the operation of comparing items is expensive.

Parameters

array

Array to be sorted.

comparer

Object used to compare the items during the sort
